How to write an essay

An essay is usually a short piece of writing. It is often written from an author’s personal point of view. Essays can be literary criticism, political manifestos, learned arguments, observations of daily life, recollections, and reflections of the author.

These simple steps will guide you through the essay writing process:
1) Decide on your topic.
a) Your topic can be eather
i) A suggested topic. E.g. a quote “There are three constants in life… change, choice and principles.” Stephen Covey
ii) Your own topic. E.g. “The dog is the man best friend”
2) Prepare an outline or diagram of your ideas.
